LABAKAN CS kennel was registered in 1990 in the Slovak Breeders’ Association. After the establishment of SKJ, it was re-registered in 2000 on LABAKAN SLOVAKIA kennel.
We are a small kennel and until 2010 we bred only dogs of the Siberian Husky breed, with which I also actively and quite successfully participated in sled dog races in Slovakia and abroad.

My the first meeting with  Australian shepherd breed was in the Czech Republic on western horse competotions. In that time, more of our siberians were  already behind the rainbow bridge, so I decided to add one aussie female to our family, because this breed came to me more suitable for its nature as a companion dog on the farm and with the horses. And so in 2009 I went to Czech republik  for my dream aussie girl , she was Chessie Puella Fera. By her nature, she completely won me over, so after the tragic death of my last husky Tricky, I definitely decided to end the breeding of this breed and replace it with the Australian Shepherd breed.

At the end of 2020 year, the adorable Miniature American Shepherd “Pancho” imported from Russia was added to our aussies as the first representative of this breed in our kennel.
The goal of my breeding program is to profile animals that are balanced in nature, easily trained with preserved herding instinct and an exterior ,that meets the breed standard, while trying to breed only animals with the best possible health results.
